My Las Vegas Plumber‎ - James‎ - Mar 26, 2009

I recently purchased a foreclosure property in Las Vegas and the water main line was leaking, causing hundreds of dollars in my monthly water bill. I called AMCO Plumbing for an estimate. The plumber was on time, inspected and located the leak and gave me an affordable price to replace the water main line in my front yard. AMCO workers finished the job in one day and left my front yard looking almost like before. I certainly recommend AMCO Plumbing Service, as my affordable, honest local plumber. Antoinette & James

I had a major water leak in my front yard. I called 3 plumbing contractors in Las Vegas for the repairs and AMCO gave me a very reasonable price quote, upfront price, no hourly rate... unlike the other 2 companies. The job was done the next day in a very professional way. By the end of the day the water leak was fixed and my yard back to normal. Amco Plumbing has done an excellent job at an affordable price. We had a gas stub for a BBQ installed by Amco and we are pleased with both the neat job they did and the estimate. Howard, the owner sent a great worker to our home and he supervised the work. Howard explained all the materials needed and we agreed. There were no hidden costs. Honestly, I would use them again for ANY of our plumbing needs. This was a very pleasant experience.

AMCO replaced my 75 gallon water heater and added a drain pan along with new copper piping and new ball valves to the recirculating pump. Also repaired and repainted area where water heater had leaked which surprised me. AMCO provides an honest, professional and courteous service which is rare here in Las Vegas. I have dealt with other plumbing companies in the past and wasn\'t happy with any of them. From now on, this is the only company I will be calling. Give AMCO a call and ask for HP! I highly recommend AMCO. First of all they were on time, no waiting. They gave me a quote of the cost, in writing of how much the repair would be, and even though my job became more work than just a drain clean out there was no extra charge other than the cost of the part- even though they had to leave and spend a lot more time to repair than anticipated. The price was extremely fair and the work was impeccable. In fact I was even contacted later to make sure all was well. If that is not excellent service especially in this day and age of overpriced, overworked , impersonable ,under qualified businesses I don't know what would be.

Amco Plumbing installed a new gas hot water heater in my garage at an excellent price. I called 5 other plumbing companies in Las Vegas and Amco offered the best price. They did a very good job. They even cleaned and repaired the stand that the tank was sitting on. It was all molded and dirty from the old water heater leaks. Excellent service. I highly recommend Amco Plumbing services. As an out of state owner of a rental in Las Vegas, I was advised by my tenant of a water leak and wet drywall in the living room of my unit. I called AMCO Plumbing after viewing their website and noting the $25.00 service call. They contacted my tenant, arranged the appointment and, after the inspection, emailed me a photo of the leaking hose bib pipe in the wall. They repaired the leaking pipe, replaced the drywall and emailed me an invoice for $179.00. Now that is Great Service! Carol C.

I called Amco from their ad in the phone book. I had a quote from another plumber to replace a cracked toilet tank. The plumber from the other company could not explain how the tank got cracked. The replacement toilet would not have a water saving feature.
The plumber from Amco explained how the crack happened and gave me a quote to replace the toilet with a water saving model at about half of the cost of the other company.
The installers arrived on time. They were neat, clean and polite. They provided a very professional job. The charges were the same as the quote.
If I need plumbing services in the future, I will use Amco.

September 4, 2010: I contacted AMCO Plumbing on the Friday afternoon before Labor Day after my water-heater stopped working, and someone was at my house within 35 minutes. The plumber was extremely knowledgeable, very kind, and not only fixed my water-heater, but spent 20 minutes afterward explaining our system, showed me how to clean my faucets to reduce build-up, and gave us tips to help with the calcium build-up we were having in our dishwasher. Not only that, but the plumber actually called the next day, Saturday, just to make sure everything was working properly. My wife and I were worried about who to call due to the price. AMCO dealt with us fairly and the final price of the repair was actually lower than I envisioned. AMCO has my business for life. I HIGHLY recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

You never know what you're going to get when you call for service in your home..... I read the AMCO Plumbing reviews and they seemed like a reputable company. I called and spoke with Howard who promised me he'd have someone out to me the next day. James, the plumber, arrived on time and was very friendly. We walked through the house and discussed all of the issues I was having: leaky pipes, old plastic shut off valves, a smelly drain and a broken landscape hose. We then agreed on a price (very fair indeed). He was one of the nicest workmen I've had in my house - very respectful and helpful!! I'm surely going to recommend this company to my friends and will have them out again when the time comes!

AMCO tech was not only excellent at his job, but also very patient with us. We had a loud, persistent whistle in our bathroom, which we had associated with the plumbing. He discovered the source of the noise and was very understanding when it turned out to be a hand-held poker machine in need of a battery! I would recommend AMCO to any and all of my friends and acquaintances...They're great and affordable priced!

July 29, 2010: I just wanted to thank you for the great service and express my appreciation for the way your company handled our water heater replacement. Howard was extremely helpful and professional from the first time I spoke with him on the phone. The job was done as discussed on time and for the amount quoted. I was surprised to find out we were eligible for the $100 rebate for energy star. Howard did not mention it during our phone conversations. I like the idea of under promise and over deliver. July 6, 2010: Thank you very much for the work Howard and his associate did on the plumbing at my home. The water meter now reads zero when the water in the house is shut off. Their work was very efficiently done and the excavation area looks essentially undisturbed. Howard was great to deal with. He was informative, forthright, and willing to explain what he needed to do, how he was going to do it, and how long it would take.
I would recommend Howard to anyone needing similar work done at their home.
